If you are planning to work on the parts of LibreOffice that are implemented in Java, mainly the HSQLDB embedded database in Base, you need to download and install a JDK (Java SE Development Kit): Oracle's Java SE Development Kit.Run Xcode at least once (you don't need to open or create any project).What you are absolutely not expected to do is to specifically download some old Xcode version or a separate old SDK and use those. This is partly because I have a high res (4K) screen. This consists of 'Frequent Folders (10)' and then underneath it is 'Recent Files (20') I would like to increase Frequent Folders to 15 and Recent Files to say 30. Using older Xcode versions on older macOS versions might also work. When I first open File Explorer, it defaults to showing Quick Access. Right after a new Xcode version is released, or after a new macOS version is released, there might be a few days while that is not true. The intent is that LibreOffice will always be buildable with the current Xcode on current macOS. Building master requires Xcode 11.3 or later, which requires macOS 10.14.4 or later. Zamzar seems to offer some options for converting some types of Numbers files to formats that can be opened by LO Calc. You can access it only in the way I described. I have not found a way to access that list from the File Menu. If you click on that pin, it will pin the item and retain it in that list. I found that when I hold the Right Click button over the icon on the task bar and hold it for 2 or 3 seconds, first you’ll see a menu showing all the Writer windows that are open, then turn loose of the button and a skinny little menu will show up where, when you move the cursor over the items listed, a little pin appears to the right of the document name. I posted a similar question earlier but being one not to give up easily, I continued experimenting with Writer and accidentally found what I was looking for, accidentally lost it, and had to spend a lot of time finding it again. The Recent Documents sub-menu in the File menu is all six of the applications and StartCenter. It was strictly related to LibreOffice Writer. MacOS To find out where your user profile is located in LibreOffice for Mac, open any of the LibreOffice programs and go to LibreOffice Preferences.
